Tom Gore, ASP has over twenty years of EHS management and training experience and has been an instructor at RMEC since 2005. He has a regulatory background and work experience on Superfund sites and emergency responses, with and for the EPA. Tom has authored several instructional and regulatory field guides, including for Montana DEQ & WYDOT. His construction site photography is sought after and graces many industry manuals, and handbooks.

Shawn Armstrong has 30 years in the fire service including 20 years as a Hazardous Materials Technician. Mr. Armstrong has been an instructor for the RMEC since 2000. Shawn brings real world experiences to the classroom showing students problems that can be encountered in the workplace and how to solve those problems. He also holds an A.S. in Fire Science.

Cynthia E. Braun, CSP, CET, CHMM provides health and safety training & consulting services around the country in the general and construction industries. She assists companies to: build/audit safety management systems, develop OSHA compliant programs, conduct mock OSHA inspections, develop/deliver customized safety training, enhance safety communications, and conduct incident investigations. Clients include: military, federal/state/municipal agencies, manufacturing, ski resorts, heavy construction & trades.  FUN FACT: She has competed in triathlons for 38 years.

Jolene Donahue works in both the Private and Public Sector and promotes OSHA compliance while substantially reducing workers’ compensation injuries and costs. As an instructor at OSHA’s Region VIII training center, an OSHA Outreach Trainer and Certified Safety and Health Specialist, she brings a unique balance of fun and hands-on, actual experience to her clients that makes regulatory compliance easy.  Jolene has been called as a panel expert many times for prestigious conferences (CUPA-HR, AIHA,ASSE, RMEC), provided radio and television interviews, serves as an OSHA Compliance Subject Matter expert (SME) for numerous committees including those established by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). She has been featured in articles published by NIOSH, the ASSE and She has presented to the Safety Committee at Denver International Airport, along with many other prestigious clients.She works closely with CDPHE, NIOSH and the Department of Agriculture. Her work has been approved by the State of Colorado's Attorney General and she is frequently called as an OSHA SME due to her outstanding reputation for thorough and energetic compliance.

Gary Lietz Ed.D., CSP is the owner of G.S. Lietz and Associates, LLC, a comprehensive safety and health consultation resource. He has 30 years of experience working for the U.S. Department of Energy in occupational safety and technical training and has multiple degrees in Education, Occupational Safety and an Ed.D. in Safety Education. In addition, Gary is a committee member of ANSI/ASSP Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training and ANSI/ASSP Z490.2 Accepted Practices for E-Learning in Safety, Health and Environmental Training.

Lane Miller is  the owner of Work Site Safety Inc. Lane has over 14 years of combined  experience in the Oil and Gas and Construction industries.  Safety is his life and passion.  He has spent the last 10 years helping to  develop policies, procedures, and training for employers and employees alike.  He has endeavored and made it his mission in life, to teach and lead them to an  understanding of how not to die, or become injured in the work place.  With his combined workplace experience,  enthusiasm, and skill sets, Lane illustrates safety to individuals, and communicates  it to them in a way they can all relate to. 

Scott Olson  is the owner of Altitude Training Associates, LLC which he established in 1995. He is an authorized OSHA instructor and teaches storm water management certification programs across the western United States. In 2020, he adapted his curriculum for instructor led, on line delivery.  He chaired the Environmental & Safety Technology Department at Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) and Directed the Colorado Environmental Training Center. As faculty, Mr. Olson taught in the Environmental Compliance degree program for eight years and developed the state accredited curriculum. 

Dale Robinson has been an Instructor at the Rocky Mountain Education Center since 2002. He is recognized as subject matter expert (SME) in occupational safety and health. Dale has developed safety training programs for the construction, general and petroleum industries. He is an internationally renowned safety and health consultant and master instructor trainer, and professional motivational speaker. He brings 44 years of occupational work and safety experience from a diverse group of industries. His passion is educating people on how to live a fuller and happier life in an occupational setting through personal life experiences and stories along with the understanding and application of occupational safety standards that are designed to keep people safe.
