Request for Safety Stand Down 
OVERVIEW
The industry members of the MonDaks STEPS invited employers in the oil and gas industry operating in the Bakken to join them in a voluntary Stand Down for Safety.
THE STAND DOWN KICK OFF MEETING WAS HELD
February 14, 2012 9:00-12:00 CST Minot, North Dakota The Kick Off meeting was webcasted from the central meeting location of Minot, North Dakota. Additional meeting locations were arranged. *A voluntary Stand Down can be very helpful in focusing all workers at a location in the importance of safe work practices. The Stand Down occured at any time and was as short as 15 to 30 minutes to conduct an inspection and or provide a safety talk or training during the weeks between February 14 and March 14. *This website has been created with resources to assist participating industry members with check lists for voluntary safety inspections. Training resources available to download free of charge have also been posted The Kick Off Meeting Agenda from the Minot location included the following speakers:
