OGOP 110 - 40 HR OIL & GAS SAFETY AND HEALTH - VIDEO CONFERENCE

Participants must attend 100% of this training via computer with webcam, microphone and speakers

This course provides the training for experienced employees working in or returning to the Oil and Gas Industry. It is focused more for Safety and Health personnel, Managers, Frontline Supervisors and Foremen. It is designed to give proficient level understanding of the Safety and Health hazards and regulations associated to the Oil and Gas Industry. It includes a compilation of OSHA standards specific to the Oil and Gas Industry. This course is designed for people that are required to enforce, oversee and perform training duties. It is an in-depth look at the Standards that apply to the Oil and Gas Industry. It gives the participant the knowledge, skills, competency and encouragement needed to implement an effective Safety and Health Program. 

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO CONFERENCE TRAINING - Cisco WebEx Platform

In order to participate in the virtual classroom courses being delivered by the Rocky Mountain Education Center, you must have all of the following system requirements:

• a computer with at least 1 GB of RAM and a dual-core processor (you cannot us a cell phone for this training you MUST be on a computer);

• a webcam capable of producing high-quality video.  WebEx supports most webcams of this type;

• Speakers and a microphone built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth;

• internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
