VIDEO CONFERENCE
RMEC 130 OSHA 30-Hour Course in Construction Safety - Video Conference
The OSHA Directorate of Training and Education has given permission for RMEC to hold this course via live video conference, for those participants within Region VIII - which includes: Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. We can only accept registrations for students within these states.
Participants must attend 100% of this training via computer with webcam, michrophone and speakers.
This course will introduce students to OSHA policies, procedures and standards, construction safety and health principles. The scope and application of OSHA construction standards will also be addressed. Emphasis will be placed on those areas that are most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR VIDEO CONFERENCE TRAINING - Cisco WebEx Platform
In order to participate in the virtual classroom courses being delivered by the Rocky Mountain Education Center, you must have all of the following system requirements:
a computer with at least 1 GB of RAM and a dual-core processor (you cannot us a cell phone for this training you MUST be on a computer);
a webcam capable of producing high-quality video. WebEx supports most webcams of this type;
Speakers and a microphone built-in or USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth;
internet connection with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
