Prerequisite The Qualified Stormwater Manager Certification Program is an intermediate training program. Understanding the fundamentals of Stormwater Management for Construction Activities is a prerequisite of the program.
This two-day training program has been developed by Altitude Training Associates(ATA) to meet the knowledge and skills required to be a Qualified Stormwater Managerincluding implementation of the SWMP and conducting routine inspections. TheQualified Stormwater Manager must be skilled at site and control measure evaluation toeffectively implement the SWMP in its entirety. This is a certification class in whichcandidates become certified through Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, CO.The certification is valid for 3 years. A recognized refresher program is required every3 years to keep the certification.
NOTE:Course participants will need to bring a hardhat, safety vest, safety glassesand wear appropriate footwear to visit local construction sites on the second day of the class.
This Class can be taught at your facility. We suggest a minimum of 12 students to make it cost effective for you, however we are happy to provide you a bid for fewer than 12.
